Financing Your Home

When it comes to financing your home, you can't underestimate the value of a good pre-approval. This marks your preliminary approval to buy a house, but it doesn't guarantee you will be able to get a mortgage. Once jumped through all the necessary paperwork and approvals, you will receive a final loan commitment from your lender that seals the deal.

Luckily, there are several different types of financing available to help you buy your home. Need a lender? We work with fantastic local professionals who can help you with getting the best financing option for your unique situation!

Making an Offer

Congratulations you found a home you love and its time to write an offer! The offer is an important part of the home-buying process. Typically, when you are ready to make an offer, you will meet with your real estate agents and discuss terms you agree on.  With this agreement, your real estate agent will take your offer to the seller, who may accept or reject it. After your offer is accepted your agent will help you with the next steps to get you to a successful closing!

Home Inspection

After the offer is accepted, you will have the option to purchase a home inspection to ensure that the property meets all of your needs.

A home inspection is a thorough examination of the structure and all accessible systems of a house. It measures, photographs and documents every aspect of the home and identifies any problems that need to be addressed. A home inspection is conducted for your protection so you can make an informed decision about the purchase of your next house or condo. If you need an inspector during this process we can recommend our trusted vendors!

Getting an Appraisal

Buying a home is one of the biggest financial decisions you'll make! If you are using financing most lenders will require an appraisal on the home.

An appraisal is a third-party opinion of the true market value of the home. It's based on a careful analysis of recent sales of homes similar to your subject.

Insuring Your Home

Congratulations you're almost to the finish line! The next important step after the appraisal is getting the right policy for your new home! Work with your insurance broker on getting your new home added to your new or existing policy.

Congratulations you made it to closing!

Closing day is the final part of the real estate transaction where you and the seller sign all necessary paperwork to officially seal the deal. The seller pays for or finances your closing costs, and you receive your keys to your new home. We are with you every step of the way, even after you close on your home, please never hesitate to reach out to us with any questions!
